Priscilla Blackadder - Lawyer

has over 14 years’ experience in complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Priscilla has particular expertise in intellectual property and consumer/trade practices litigation. She has extensive experience both appearing as counsel and as a solicitor leading complex commercial litigation matters both at trial and appellate level in the superior State Courts (NSW and Victoria), the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia. Priscilla was admitted in NSW 2009 and was first called to the Bar in NSW in May 2011. She enjoyed a busy general commercial practice specialising in IP and media matters. In 2016, she returned to private practice, for the most part working as Senior Associate and Special Counsel for HWL Ebsworth’s commercial litigation team in Sydney. Upon relocating to Victoria in 2022, Priscilla made the decision to return to practice at the Bar. She signed the Bar Roll in March 2023. Notable matters which Priscilla has acted in include: acting for the copyright owner of Kookaburra Sits in the Old Gum Tree in the long running copyright infringement dispute against the writers and publishers of Men at Work’s Down Under; acting for a large multinational pharmaceutical company in various matters including  obtaining urgent injunctions restraining competitors from broadcasting national advertising campaigns which involved alleged misleading and comparative claims in the Federal Court (including two appeals to the Full Court and a HCA special leave application);  acting for a large Australian media organisation in complex multi-party proceedings in the Supreme Court of NSW involving a nationally recognised law firm and international bank in associated claims arising out of a multi-million-dollar fraud committed by an employed solicitor; and acting the former CEO of a large international company in his defence of white-collar criminal prosecution in the District Court of NSW involving a number of charges relating to financial misconduct (bribery/corruption/corporate kickbacks Priscilla holds a Bachelor of Arts (Music and Media) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours). She is presently undertaking her Master of Laws (IP) at the University of Melbourne.

Randall Walker - Marketing Specialist

is passionately committed to assisting organisations, teams, and individuals, to realise their full potential. Randall is a proponent of adopting a holistic 'dharmic management' approach and a best practice Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) approach. In simple terms a dharmic management approach is aiming, through your business, to make a positive difference in the world! As an example, a viable profitable business can be achieved by creating an outstanding customer experience, including training, motivating, and developing staff to deliver product and service quality. An IMC approach is ensuring that there is consistency across all communications, in alignment with the brand. Randall has more than 30 years marketing and business development experience including managing an annual marketing budget for a publicly listed company in excess of $1 million and securing grant funding and tenders in excess of $1 million per project. He has formal qualifications including a Master of Business Administration (Marketing), Workplace Assessment and Training, as well as Hospitality. ​ Randall has been an invited guest speaker at industry events such as Australasian Hotel Industry Conference and Exhibition (AHICE), and the Choice Hotels Australasia Annual Conference. He has presented and delivered webinars on topics including marketing, branding, sales, entrepreneurship, consulting, innovation, customer service, Sustainable Competitive Advantage (SCA), dharmic management, Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC), and The Art of War applied to a post Covid marketplace. Randall has worked with major global tourism brands, facilitated corporate programs for Top 200 Australian companies including ANZ, CBA, Telstra, Westfield, and Westpac, and delivered programs in collaboration with Australian Government departments including Department of Defence, Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and Arts, and Department of Education, Skills and Employment.
